The "Top of The South" is renowned for its hiking, cycling, kayaking and scenic beauty.

The Blue Moon is brilliantly placed for visiting the  Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park, Golden Bay or the Nelson Tasman Region with its beaches, vineyards, artisan galleries, great cycling and other outdoor activities.

Visit the local brewery, Hop Federation only a ten minute walk away, and sample some beers before bringing back a rigger to enjoy in the garden or go wine tasting at the Riwaka River Estate winery , only a 5 minute drive away. Two local cafes/shops at the end of the road, Mrs Smiths & Ginger Dynamite, provide delicious cakes, pies, breakfast paninis, pizza, real fruit ice cream, veggies, coffee, and more.

We are also perfectly situated for cyclists wanting to try out the new Tasman Great Taste Trail as it goes right past our door. Whilst not complete yet it provides a small adventure for those wanting to explore the area. Why not rent bikes from town or Wheelie Fantastic Cylie Hire and Tours and visit the many wineries and galleries in the area.
